Fifteen men have been warned by Hackney police during a crackdown on kerb-crawling.
The men agreed to sign Acceptable Behaviour Contracts, promising to steer clear of prostitutes.
If they break the conditions of the contract, they could be taken to court and hit with further punishments.
The contracts ban the men from approaching prostitutes and from visiting vice hotspots, such as Shackwell Lane in Dalston and Brownswood Road in Finsbury Park.
Officers from Dalston, Lordship and Brownswood safer neighbourhood teams worked with the vice unit during the week-long operation last month.
Insp Ade Adelekan, from Stoke Newington police, said: “An immense amount of work has been put into this operation and the end results are a great testimony to that.
“We hope that the quality of life for resident in Hackney will now be greatly improved.
