I moved to Brownswood ward (Finsbury Park N4 - London) 3 years ago, when I bought the flat where I'm actually living in. Before that I lived 1 year in Stoke Newington. And before coming to London I lived 4 years in Brussels - Belgium. I'm originally from a small city in the North East side of Italy, a region on the border by Slovenia and Austria.
I used to travel quite a lot and I like London more than any other place.
Despite the being told by several people that Finsbury Park was a bad place, I'm finding it full of opportunities and nice people.
The area is changing and to accelerate the change (not from a gentrification point of view) we need to do something. So I thought that creating a blog for the area collecting information, news, links and etc. could have been a good idea.
So we are, 1 year of blogging and still alive and kicking.
