Alder King to work nationwide with Marie Curie Cancer Care

Alder King is working with Marie Curie Cancer Care to increase its national network of retail units. The charity presently operates from 175 shops across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

In the last two months Marie Curie Cancer Care has acquired retail shops in Seven Sisters Road, Finsbury Park, Bitterne Road, Southampton, Westway, Maghull and Darley Street, Bradford. In addition, contracts have been exchanged to take a lease in a new retail development in Byker, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Nigel Gibbons, Retail Partner at Alder King commented: “Our client’s expansion campaign continues and notable priorities include relocations in Archway & Highbury, London and new units in Solihull, Cardiff, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Bradford, Liverpool, London and Belfast.”

The shops raise funds so that Marie Curie Cancer Care can provide free nursing care to terminally ill cancer patients, allowing them the choice to remain in their own homes during the final stages of the illness. The new shops will be vital to raise the further funds needed to help patients and their families.
