FOUR men were hauled to safety by firefighters from a derelict hotel as it went up in flames.

The men, all aged between 15 and 30, were pulled from the former Spring Park Hotel in Seven Sisters Road, Finsbury Park, in the early hours of Saturday morning, suffering from smoke inhalation.

Three of them were subsequently arrested for being in the UK illegally.

More than 60 firefighters tackled the inferno, which damaged much of the four-storey building.

They were called out at 3am and brought the blaze under control three hours later.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the London Fire Brigade.
